Most Eagle's Landing students return after 2 get swine flu
When Eagle's Landing Christian Academy reopened Thursday morning after a thorough cleaning, the "vast majority" of students returned and it was "business as usual," said Chuck Gilliam, assistant head of school. "There are still some students out," he added. "I think they are just being precautious, which we understand, but we feel as we continue to walk through this together, they'll continue to see the environment is safe, that we're following the guidelines and doing what the CDC has asked us to do." A second student who attends the private Henry County school, a 13-year-old boy, has tested positive for swine flu, health officials said Wednesday. Earlier this week, state officials confirmed that a 14-year-old boy at the school had contracted the disease.
