A Jonesboro man is being held without bond in the stabbing death of a McDonough man early Sunday morning at an Irish pub. McDonough police Chief Preston Dorsey said Charles Edward Brown, 44, of Jonesboro is charged with murder in the death of Ryan Gilliam, 22, of McDonough. Brown is being held without bond in the Henry County Jail. Dorsey said officers are investigating what prompted the stabbing. He said Brown, a former bouncer at the Irish Bred Pub on Ga. 155, confronted Gilliam after Gilliam disputed his bar tab at closing time.
